Every effort is made to provide appropriate academic support for students who are struggling in a course; however, students are not guaranteed tutoring services. Students who apply for a tutor may receive tutoring services when the professor of record has confirmed an estimated grade of a D or an F. In rare cases, students earning a C- or less in a required course for the major may be granted the services of a tutor. Because tutors are employees of the University, students failing to comply with policy governing tutor services may lose their services.
