Curtain call
Rich harmonies and melodies float through Brad Garvin's '87 place of work. It's not your typical office space. His livelihood is vocal music — opera — on a professional level that many aspiring singers only dream of attaining.
War zone therapy
Major Robert Sidell '94 holds a unique part in the making of history. Stationed in Iraq as the prevention team leader for the 85th Combat Stress Control detachment, his team supported the First Brigade Combat Team Fourth Infantry Division — part of the group that led to the capture of Saddam Hussein.
Griffin to lead offices of Alumni and University Relations
Olivet Nazarene University has appointed Gary Griffin as director of alumni and university relations.

In this new combined role, Griffin will inform and lead the strategic relationship-building initiatives between the University and the more than 30,000 alumni it serves while continuing to oversee university relations efforts.

Tabitha Villarrubia '01
Originally from Puerto Rico, family law and immigration attorney Tabitha Villarrubia '01 devotes her skills and talents to representing and defending the local injustices in Indianapolis.

In preparation for this career, Tabitha earned a degree in political science from Olivet in 2001. Always having the desire to attend law school, a political science degree seemed the logical choice to develop her knowledge and aid in her preparations for a profession in law.
