No. 13 ranked Olivet Nazarene University senior outside hitter Stephanie Smith (Bourbonnais, Ill.) had an outstanding five matches to help lead Olivet to a perfect 5-0 record last week. She has been named the CCAC Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 1.

Smith went on a tear this week for Olivet. In five matches, Smith totaled 67 kills and 61 digs, with seven block assists. She averaged 3.30 kills and 2.95 digs per game in the five matches. In the Georgetown College Boneyard Brawl tournament, she had four straight double-doubles in kills and digs against one ranked and three opponents that are receiving votes. Against No. 16 Indiana Tech, Smith registered 23 kills with 12 digs to lead her team to a win. For her efforts, Stephanie was named to the All-Tournament Team.
