Currently, Shanda is practicing business litigation at the law firm of Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC in Cincinnati, Ohio. She went on to earn her law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law after graduating from ONU. Spurlock joined five other former Olivet athletes as 2009 Hall of Fame honorees. Rainer Caldwell (football, 1990-1993), Lee Coomler (men’s basketball, 1998-2000), Steve Hassell (football, 1987-1990), Drew Neal (men’s basketball, 1997-2000), Matt Schweitzer (baseball, 1997-2000).
