Olivet Nazarene University

Don Lee is in his first season as head football coach. Lee was named Olivet Nazarene University's head football coach on Thursday, December 18th, 2008. Coach Lee is the seventh head football coach in the program's history.

Don Lee is a '95 Alum of ONU, he graduated with his Bachelor's of Science degree in Physical Education from the university.

Coach Lee and his wife, Anitra have one daughter, Ka'Niyah, and one son, Don, Jr.

Lee played four seasons at Olivet Nazarene University (1990-1993) where he was a three-year letterman as a defensive end for the Tigers.

For the past four seasons Coach Lee has been the head football coach at Belhaven College, a NAIA school located in Jackson, Miss. In his second season as the Blazers head coach he led them to a 7-4 record, the only season over .500 in the program's history.

He is also extremely proud of the increase in graduating seniors from 2005 through 2008. He is quoted, "In 2005 we graduated 11 seniors, since then we have seen 49 seniors graduate with their degrees. I am extremely proud to see our guys using football to get their education. Football does not last forever, but their college degree will."

Also, during the summer of 2007, Lee was an assistant coach for the Arizona Cardinals in their Pre-Season Mini-Camp where he worked with the Offensive Line and Running Backs.

Before he took over the reigns for Belhaven he served as the Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator in 2003 and 2004 before being named head coach in 2005. Prior to arriving at Belhaven, Coach Lee was the Linebackers coach at Cumberland College in Kentucky during the 2002 season. From 1997-2001, he served as Defensive Line Coach at Southwest Baptist University in Missouri as was named the school's "Recruiter of the Year" in 1998. Coach Lee spent the 1995-1997 seasons at Middle Georgia College as the Defensive Ends Coach, where the defense was ranked 7th in the NJCAA in total defense during the 1995 season.

Coach Lee started his coaching career not too far from Bourbonnais, serving as the Outside Linebackers coach at Momence High School in Momence, Ill.
