Dr. David Vance was hired in the spring of 2009 as the new Men's and Women's Head Tennis coach. Dr. Vance is a life-long tennis player and began formal competition career ten years ago. As a captain and coach, Vance has had much success competing at the Regional, Sectional, and State Levels within the United States Tennis Association Southeast.

Dr. Vance joined the Olivet faculty in the fall of 2007 as a professor of Business and also teaches Information Systems.

In addition to his academic endeavors and his coaching and love of tennis, Vance has over 25 years of lay ministry experience.

Dr. Vance and his wife Nancy (also an avid tennis player) currently reside in Bourbonnais, and have three children, John, Emily, and Ryan.
