Bill Bahr graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 1996 with a major in Public Policy and a concentration in International Relations. He has also earned an M.B.A. from Olivet.
Bahr believes faith can and should be integrated into all aspects of life. Athletics is more than just a competition; sports become the playing field on which life's lessons are taught and learned. It's the opportunity for each athlete to experience deep truths and values. Bahr also serves as a professor in the Department of Exercise and Sports Science.
- As A Player
Bahr has played the game of soccer nearly all of his life. Born in Honduras and having graduated from high school in England, Bahr has had the opportunity to learn many styles of the game. He is an active member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and recently received his advanced national diploma from the NSCAA. He also completed the NSCAA Goalkeeping Institute. He played for ONU's soccer program from 1992-96. Bahr was also the recipient of Olivet's Ambassador Award, the highest honor any athlete at Olivet Nazarene University can attain.
- As A Coach
Coach Bahr is entering his ninth season as head coach and was named the 2001 CCAC Coach of the Year.
