Leon Blanchette

Professor Leon Blanchette is an assistant professor of Christian education in the School of Theology and Christian Ministry at Olivet. He teaches Christian Scriptures I in the Department of Christian Education.

In 1993, Professor Blanchette was ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene. He also served as a children’s pastor for 18 years in the Church of the Nazarene and currently serves as the director of the children’s ministry degree. He is also a board member of the Nazarene Children’s Pastors’ Association.

Professor Blanchette’s hobbies include cooking, gardening and most any sport. He and his wife, Teri, have two daughters, Sarah and Emily.
