Susan Day
Assistant Professor
Susan Day is a full-time member of the nursing faculty at Olivet Nazarene University. Day served in the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman where her duties included mentoring new corpsman, managing an immunization clinic and facilitating medical treatment to service men and women. Day's areas of teaching are community health, public health and global community, with a focus on service-learning.
Outside of Olivet, Day is a dual member of Sigma Theta Tau, serving as secretary for Lambda Upsilon chapter-at-large and a member of Kappa Sigma Chapter. Susan is also a member of the Nurse Educators of Illinois.
Susan is a Freshman Connection Mentor, attended the MIA 2009 Trip to Argentina and Paraguay, and is also involved with Freshman nursing advising.
In addition to spending time with her husband Jason, Susan enjoys reading, jigsaw puzzles and travel.
