Darcel Brady

Dr. Darcel Y. Brady is an associate professor in the School of Education. She brings more than 30 years of experience working with young people and children in a number of areas.

She was a teaching principal in a private school for 10 years and has worked with a nonprofit organization as executive director of programs that mentor young people in grades six through college-age in the Hopkins Park, Ill. area.

Currently, Dr. Brady teaches history and philosophy of education for undergraduate and graduate students, language development for the undergraduate program and MED courses for the graduate program. She is also the director for the program in the Graduate School.
