agibbs@olivet.eduAndrew Gibbs is an instructor in the Department of English and Modern Languages.
He has taught English at Paola High School in Paola, Kan. for three years and taught English at Reed-Custer High School in Braidwood, Ill. for two years before joining the faculty at Olivet in 2006.
While teaching in Kansas, Gibbs was named the District Young Educator of the Year.
Along with teaching, professor Gibbs also has experience coaching high school tennis and basketball, creating a number of winning teams. He currently is the assistant tennis coach for the Tigers.
When he's not spending time with his wife Heather, or two young daughters, Emilia and Audra, Andrew enjoys reading, writing, photography, travel and sports.
