Staff Positions
  1. Public Safety Officer (Full Time)
    Responsible for continuous patrol of the University campus, initial response to all campus emergencies, and the enforcement of University rules and regulations. Candidates who successfully complete all phases, including but not limited to, successful completion of various physical fitness testing, comprehensive background investigation, psychological evaluation, personality evaluation and medical examination, may be hired to fill vacancies as they arise. All candidates must include a letter of application, making a statement addressing each of the below stated selection criteria.

  2. Programmer / Systems Analyst (Full Time)
    This position will provide overall programming and analytical support for the different areas represented by Applications Services under Olivet Nazarene University’s Information Technology. This is a permanent, full-time (40-hour) position working as a team member of the Applications Services team.

  3. Public Safety Officer (Part Time)

  4. Web Programmer (Full Time)
    We are searching for an outstanding web programmer who wants to become a long-term member of our established team. Web programmers work with university staff, project managers and design team members to develop innovative web applications and content management solutions. Programming and database administration are essential elements of this position.

  5. Director of the Doctor of Education Degree in Ethical Leadership Program (Full Time)
    1. To assist in providing/maintaining high quality services for staff, students, colleagues and community members who utilize the services assigned to this position. 2. To assist the immediate supervisor by executing the duties assigned to this position. 3. To strive for positive and collegial public relations with the administration, staff, students, colleagues and community members. 4. To maintain confidentiality in all areas assigned to this position. 5. To provide maximum attention to the leadership and management issues related to programs in, education, and in general administration at the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies.

  6. Office Manager (Full Time)
    This position is designated to perform secretarial and office management tasks related to an administrative nature. Assistance is provided to the Director of Public Safety, Assistant Director of Public Safety, and Environmental Safety Specialist. This position also acts as the primary customer service representative for the Department of Public Safety by servicing front desk requests and telephone contacts with students, staff, faculty, and visitors.

  1. School of Graduate and Continuing Studies Adjunct Professor (Part Time)
    Olivet Nazarene University continually seeks professionals committed to outstanding teaching for parttime employment within the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies. The chief responsibilities of adjunct professors are to guide students in the pursuit of knowledge and skills and to possess in-depth, current information about content area and teaching strategies.

  2. Graduate Education Faculty (Full Time)
    1. To assist in providing/maintaining high quality services for staff, students, colleagues and community members who utilize the services assigned to this position. 2. To assist the immediate supervisor by executing the duties assigned to this position. 3. To strive for positive and collegial public relations with the administration, staff, students, colleagues and community members. 4. To maintain confidentiality in all areas assigned to this position. 5. To provide maximum attention to the leadership and management issues related to programs in business, education, nursing, religion and/or in general administration at the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies.

  3. Athletic Director (Full Time)
    The Athletic Director leads the Athletic Department in its mission: “Winning Championships – Developing Champions.” This requires successful management of all athletic facilities, staff, athletic events, finances, and constituent relations. It also requires visionary leadership to strengthen the department athletically, academically, spiritually, and through the service mission of the university. Olivet is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA), and participates routinely in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC). The men’s and women’s basketball teams compete in Divison I of the NAIA. Intercollegiate athletics is considered an integral part of the total education program of the university.
